rEgIoNaL lEaRnInG... slums.. mango farm... boat ride

Playing games in the slums of Mexico with the children! It was a very wide-awakening experience. I felt very uncomfortable when we first arrived because we drove in in two huge air-conditioned buses. Our entire cast of 107 people all piled off handing out candy to the children, the last thing they needed and people were going around taking pictures. I felt like we were treating them like they were zoo animals but they later thanked us for coming and acknowledging them as human beings. (Black and white photos taken by a cast member).
Jenny and Collin (Texas) playing "lovers leap" with the kids.

A family standing infront of their house.

A little child climbing out the window of his house.

Later that day we took a hike on a mango farm to a beautiful waterfall. Quite the change of environments from the morning.
Kind of Juarsic Parkish.
Taking the easy way back to the buses.
Kelsey (CA) and Anika (Germany) enjoying the mangos from the farm.
Jenny (Texas)... this picture explains it all ;).
Marieke (Netherlands) and Jenny (Texas).
Delicious!
Then we ended that day taking a boat ride to the famous arch of Cabo. My host father told me that I couldn't say I was in Cabo until I saw the arch.
